Terms of use

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms govern your use of Next Content. By using the site, or by creating an account, you accept them. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

Next Content is run by setstate.info, a design and development studio based in Brazil. It is a publishing platform: writers post articles here, and anyone can read, like and comment on them.

2. Using the site

You can read Next Content without an account. An account lets you like posts, comment on them and write your own. Whether or not you have one, you must not:

  • Use the site for anything unlawful
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to the site, other people's accounts or the systems behind it, or disrupt them
  • Probe or scan the site for vulnerabilities without our permission, or get around its security, rate limits or upload limits
  • Copy, scrape or harvest the site's content or data in bulk, by hand or with automated tools
  • Pretend to be someone else, or give us false information when you register

3. Your account

  • One account per person, registered with an email address you control. Signing in with Google uses the account that has that email address, so you can use a password and Google side by side
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it
  • We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being misused. If we delete yours, we'll tell you by email, and you can write to us to ask why or to appeal
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time (section 13). Your posts, comments and likes are deleted with it

4. Your posts and comments

What you write stays yours. By publishing a post or a comment you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store it, show it on the site under your name, and let readers share links to it, for as long as it is on the site. Posts and comments are public, as is your author profile (your name, username and picture), so don't publish anything you want to keep private.

A new post is a draft until an administrator publishes it. We may decline to publish a post, unpublish it, or remove a post or comment, if we think it breaks these terms or the law, or if we receive a complaint we think is justified. Where we can, we'll tell you why.

You can edit or delete your own posts at any time from your dashboard, and delete your own comments. Deleting a post deletes the comments and likes on it.

5. Rules for what you publish

You are responsible for everything you post, upload or embed, and you must have the right to use it. In particular, you must not publish anything that:

  • Infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights, including images, recordings or video you don't have permission to use
  • Is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit
  • Reveals someone's private information without their consent
  • Is spam, advertising or a link to malware

We don't support piracy in any form. If you hold the rights to something published here and believe it is being used without permission, write to us (section 13) and we will look into it promptly and remove it where appropriate.

6. Our content

The site's design and code belong to Next Content and setstate.info. Posts and comments belong to the people who wrote them (section 4). You may read, link to and share pages for your own, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce them for commercial use without the author's written permission and ours.

7. Uploaded and embedded media

Images, audio and video you upload are stored with our hosting providers (our Privacy policy lists them) and served from there. Uploads are limited per person and per day to keep the site affordable. Files you upload may stay in storage for a while after you remove them from a post or delete your account; they are removed in a later clean-up and are not shown anywhere in the meantime.

Posts may also embed media from third-party platforms such as YouTube, or link to images on other sites. We don't control those platforms, and playing or loading their media is subject to their terms; they may set their own cookies once you press play.

Links to other sites are provided for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

8. Information on this site

Next Content is a platform for its writers. Posts and comments reflect their authors' views, not ours, and we don't check them for accuracy before they are published. We welcome corrections, but we can't guarantee that anything on the site is complete or up to date.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the site available, but it is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. Keep your own copies of anything you publish here.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content, or anything another user publishes. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Privacy

How we handle your personal data, and which cookies the site uses, is set out in our Privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, where setstate.info is based, and the Brazilian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States or anywhere else, nothing in these terms takes away protections that the consumer laws of your country give you and that can't be waived by agreement, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies. If a change matters to account holders, we'll let them know by email.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms, or about anything published on the site, can be sent to info@setstate.info.
